Clear information.
Transparent standards.
The principles behind what we publish, how we use sources, and how we handle corrections and commercial relationships.
Help readers make informed enquiries.
CliniScout publishes healthcare guides, specialist information, and clinic profiles to support research into care in the UAE. Our aim is to explain options clearly, identify useful differences, and help readers prepare questions for providers.
Inclusion on CliniScout is not an endorsement, an inspection, or a guarantee of care quality. We do not claim that one provider is the best choice for every patient.
Research first. Context where it helps.
Our content is primarily research based. Relevant sources may include official health authorities, regulator records, provider websites, and published clinical guidance or research where appropriate.
We may also draw on feedback from contacts working within the UAE healthcare system. We use these perspectives to add practical context and guide further research, while distinguishing them from independently verified facts.
Provider claims should be attributed. Important factual statements should be traceable to their supporting sources. Where information cannot be confirmed, we aim to make that uncertainty clear.
Be precise about what is known.
Our standard is to check important details against relevant sources before publication and avoid presenting assumptions as facts. Credentials, fees, services, insurance arrangements, and availability can change; readers should confirm current details directly.
Publication dates and substantive update dates should be shown on articles. We aim to review content when material changes or credible errors are brought to our attention; we do not promise continuous monitoring of every listing.
Medical review is identified only when it has actually taken place. Research or industry input alone should not be described as a clinical review.
Make commercial interests visible.
Sponsored articles, paid placements, and affiliate relationships must be clearly disclosed where they appear. Commercial material should be distinguishable from editorial content.
Payment must not be presented as evidence of clinical quality or used to justify unsupported claims. Relevant relationships involving contributors should also be disclosed.
Show what an image or account represents.
Illustrative, stock, or AI-generated images should not be presented as photographs of a real provider, facility, clinician, or treatment outcome. Illustrative visuals should be identified where confusion is possible.
First-hand visits and personal experiences must be explicitly identified. Industry feedback and patient reviews are perspectives, not proof of clinical quality or a prediction of another patient’s results.
Help us put errors right.
If you spot an error, contact us with the article link, the detail you believe is incorrect, and a supporting source if available. Please avoid sending private medical records or sensitive patient information.
We assess correction requests against the available evidence. Confirmed factual errors should be corrected, with a correction note where a change materially affects the article’s meaning or conclusions.
Information to support your research.
Our content provides general information and does not replace personal medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Discuss your individual needs with a qualified healthcare professional.
